Questions
Unlock PDF questions
Can this open a PDF I am not allowed to open?
No. The contents of an encrypted PDF are still encrypted — we need the password to read them in the first place. This removes the password so you do not have to type it every time you open the file.
Is the file uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole thing runs in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
Will the unlocked PDF still open in Acrobat?
Yes. It is a normal PDF with no encryption, so every reader and every phone can open it.
